Medical services grounded in scientific education, modern practices and clinical experience.
I was born and raised in Thessaloniki. From a young age, I developed a strong interest in science and sports. I was awarded a distinction for excellence in the Panhellenic University Entrance Examinations.
I was admitted 7th in rank to the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and completed my studies within the standard six-year timeframe.
After graduation, I began my residency at the General Hospital of Serres, where I worked for two years. I completed my residency at the 2nd Department of Internal Medicine of Hippokration General Hospital of Thessaloniki, where I worked for more than three years alongside distinguished professors and doctors.

A significant part of my specialty training coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic, during which I had the opportunity to practice in areas particularly specialized for an internist, related to Infectious Diseases and Pulmonology. This period strengthened my clinical judgment and my ability to adapt in high-pressure environments.
Concurrently, I actively participated in outpatient departments of Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension, gaining valuable experience in chronic disease management and long-term patient follow-up. I also obtained certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS).
In parallel with my clinical activity, I completed the English-taught postgraduate program of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki entitled Medical Research Methodology. The most important benefit of this postgraduate training for everyday clinical practice is the ability to remain continuously and reliably updated in medicine, as well as to critically evaluate new research data, with the aim of providing the most up-to-date and evidence-based medical recommendations.
As part of my master’s thesis, I conducted research on Metabolic dysfunction–Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) and antidiabetic medications, working alongside experienced collaborators and researchers. Together, we published two network meta-analyses in reputable scientific journals. (1), (2)
Diabetes Mellitus and Hepatology constitute my main fields of interest. Alongside my private practice, I worked as a scientific associate at the Hepatology outpatient clinic of the 2nd Department of Internal Medicine at Hippokration General Hospital of Thessaloniki, maintaining a close connection with the academic and hospital community.
In the coming years, I will complete a two-year fellowship in Diabetes Mellitus at the Diabetes Center of the aforementioned department, in order to be officially recognized as a Diabetologist.

I primarily provide services as a Specialist in Internal Medicine and deal with the full spectrum of pathological conditions-from infections and acute cases to chronic diseases such as arterial hypertension, dyslipidemia, and obesity. Prevention is also an integral part of my everyday clinical practice.
My philosophy is grounded in continuous and reliable medical education. I carefully evaluate new research data and base all my recommendations on the most up-to-date and high-quality evidence available.
The management of each patient is individualized, and my primary concern is to respect each patient’s personality, needs and preferences. My role is to provide recommendations, but final decisions are always made jointly (shared decision-making), after all relevant information has been thoroughly explained.
